Privacy Policy for SkipperLake

This Privacy Policy describes how SkipperLake (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information in connection with the mobile game SkipperLake (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

SkipperLake does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask you to provide personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number to play.

The App may collect limited information automatically, including:

• Usage and gameplay data — such as levels played, scores, session length, and in-app actions, used to improve the game.
• Device and diagnostic data — such as device model, operating system version, language, crash logs, and performance data, used to fix bugs and maintain stability.
• Advertising and analytics identifiers — including the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA), but only if you grant permission when asked. These identifiers can be used by our advertising partners to recognize your device across other companies’ apps and websites in order to measure advertising and show ads based on your interests.

We do not knowingly collect precise location data or sensitive personal information.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to operate, maintain, and improve the App; diagnose and fix technical problems; understand how players use the game; and, where applicable, to display advertising and measure its performance.

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that collect information used to identify your device, and we work with these third parties to collect data through the App in order to serve ads targeted to your interests and to measure how our advertising performs. These providers process data according to their own privacy policies:

• Google AdMob — serves the ads shown inside the game. policies.google.com/privacy

• Meta (Facebook) — measures whether an ad we ran on Facebook or Instagram led to an install. facebook.com/about/privacy

• X (formerly Twitter) — receives install measurement data for ads we run on X. privacy.x.com
• Apple — provides App Store and SKAdNetwork install measurement. apple.com/legal/privacy

4. Advertising and Your Choices

The App displays advertisements. Ad providers may use identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure ads.

The tracking permission prompt. The first time you open the App, iOS asks whether you allow it to track you across other companies’ apps and websites. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track,” your advertising identifier is not shared, and our partners cannot use it to link your activity to other apps. The game plays exactly the same either way.

Changing your mind at any time. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and turn SkipperLake off or on.

Turning off personalized ads more broadly. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising and turn off “Personalized Ads.” You can also opt out of interest-based advertising from participating companies through these industry tools:

If you opt out you will still see ads — they simply won’t be based on your interests.

5. Children’s Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can remove it.

6. Data Retention and Security

We retain collected data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete information associated with you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

8. International Users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data protection laws may differ. By using the App, you consent to such transfer where permitted by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
